History

Origination from the Tesla Jihlava Company.

MODIA, a.s. hived off the TESLA Jihlava a.s. in 2007. MODIA overtook activities of the Tesla automation and tool shop centres including key employees and know-how, and henceforth enables customers to use their fifty year experience in production of single-purpose machines and exact tool parts. The history of the company thus reaches back to 1958.

The company's know-how has been extended by buying licences from leading western companies and also by own development.
